  • What are you most looking forward to in the 2014 Chicago Force season?
I am looking forward to becoming an even better player! Coming off an ACL injury last season I'm looking forward to time back on the field with some amazingly dedicated and hard working women and coaches. I could not have asked to be part of a better team coming in to my third season in the sport.

    30
  • What is your birthdate?
    5/11/1983
  • In what city do you currently live?
    Chicago, IL
  • Why do you play for the Force?
I wanted to play for the Force because they are one of the best organized teams in the league in some of the best coaches. I knew when relocating this year that I wanted to continue to play and Chicago just seemed like the best place! Ownership is very well organized, they have good financial structure, players are involved with the team off the field and truly dedicated to advancing this team and this sport. The Force also has an amazing coaching staff that is full of so much knowledge that I can't help but want to continually pick their brains about the game. I also knew that this team would push me to be better, and I am not someone who can just half ass…if I'm in, I'm ALL IN!

I have many!!! One of which I just made tonight….Salmon with citrus marinade topped with mushrooms and cooked foil either on the BBQ or in the oven…BBQ is the best! Coupled with a mixed greens salad with cranberries, walnuts, feta cheese and cranberry/walnut dressing.
  • What do you like to do in your free time?
My free time consists of anything I can do outdoors that's active. I love working out on a regular basis, playing with my dog, going to the park and for walks on the "beach". I enjoy spending time with my friends and building those relationships. I love snowboarding, biking and playing almost any sport.
  • What is the last book you read?

I have two….Peyton Manning and Abby Wambach. Both inspire me because of their dedication, professionalism, hard work and mental grasp of what is takes to succeed in their sport.
  • Who will be watching you from the stands this season?
Not too sure…I'm sure some of my family from Ohio will come over for a game or two. Other than my best friend from Indianapolis will probably be there and I'm sure I will have a few friends by the time season starts to come watch. It's going to be very different for me not having my parents and siblings in the stands this year…makes me kinda sad to think about it cause I know how much they loved coming to games and how much I loved having them there.
  • Name something you'd like to accomplish in the next 5 years.
Name one thing??? You're asking someone who's got all sorts of goals. But since we're on the football subject my goal is to make the next USA team.
  • What is your favorite restaurant and why?
BJ's Brewery…which sadly I don't think is in Chicago. It's great pizzas, beer, and many other options…along with the best pizooki's you'll ever have!!!
